MANAGEMENT METHOD FOR MASTER DATA BASE GENERATION OF CLINICAL EXAMINATION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform the switching between the new and old master data bases and to refer to these data bases regardless of the master reference date of the transaction data by referring to the master information while deciding to refer to a new or old master record for every record of a master data base. SOLUTION: When the unit price of an examination item master is referred to with the examination item code of a patient (specimen) that is recorded in an examination result information transaction 201 used as a key, the data on an examination item code '0001' define the reception data of the transaction 201 on a day after the switching date of the examination item master and also define the examination master records 21a and 21b which are closest to the reception date as the object records. In such a constitution, the contents of a master data base can be reserved for every master record without shifting the said contents and also it's possible to refer to the new and old master data bases after switching them regardless of the master reference date of the transaction data in a clinical examination system.
