PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a method which supports the optimization of planning and management of commodities by means of a computer system by accumulating the actual sales in every type of commodities and verifying the hypothesis information and the actual sales in every commodity number, factor/attribute and taste based on the information on the accumulation of the actual sales. ;SOLUTION: A color table 1-4 optionally selects the sorted departments which are computerized and accumulated by a commodity sorting table 1-2 or all commodities and then previously computerizes and accumulates the using colors. a commodity number verifier 1-7 compares the commodities supplied to a store front with the sales achievements in every absolute commodity number to support the verification of the consumption state or stock state. A factor/attribute verifier 1-8 supports the optional verification of every element by means of a good-selling commodity analysis table acquired via the registration of commodity numbers and based on the factor/attribute information acquired in every absolute number. Thus, it is possible to attain the accurate planning and ordering of commodities by performing the bidirectional verification of hypothesis for the factor/attribute information as well as the absolute commodity numbers.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
