PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve earthquake resistance of a conduit by absorbing stress generated on the conduit. ;SOLUTION: A ferrule with saddle 16 is attached to a water pipe 12, and an attaching port 24b formed on the ferrule with saddle 16 is faced in the axial direction of the water pipe 12. A straight pipe part 20a of an L-shaped feed water pipe attaching pipe 20 is connected to the attaching port 24b through a union joint 18. Since an expansion joint 38 is formed on the straight pipe part 20a, stress generated on a conduit when the water pipe 12 is axially displaced in absorbed in the expansion joint 38 by expansion of the conduit.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
