BUCKET ELEVATOR AND JAPANESE APRICOT PRETREATMENT APPARATUS UTILIZING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a bucket elevator which can prevent damage to objects to be carried by reducing shocks given thereto and a Japanese apricot pretreatment apparatus which can be compactly constructed and excels in savings in space. ;SOLUTION: A bucket elevator 10 is connected with a throwing chute 26 at a lower portion on a side which an elevator body 13 is upwardly carried and a discharge chute 27 at an upper portion thereon, respectively. A chain 18 travelling up is provided with a tilting sprocket 25 for engaging the chain from outward at a location directly below upper sprockets 14 and 15 to curve it inwardly. When a bucket 19 moves around the tilting sprocket 25, the tip of the bucket 19 is downwardly inclined so that objects to be carried therein fall onto the discharge chute 27. A Japanese apricot pretreatment apparatus 1 receives Japanese apricots discharged from the discharge chute 27 of the bucket elevator 10 for receiving and carrying upwardly the Japanese apricots sent out from a washing portion 30 for them through the throwing chute 26. A selecting section 40 for selecting the Japanese apricots in accordance with the grain diameter is provided on the washing portion 30 in stacked relation.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
