PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remarkably reduce handling time for corrective machining by comparing a length linking with a radius vector tip point of working information on uncorrected glass lens and a length linking with a radius vector tip point of measuring information, judging the necessity of corrective machining and automatically performing necessary corrective machining. ;SOLUTION: When a part in a radius vector length of an uncorrected glass lens measured by an outside diameter measuring device 32 is longer than primary working information around an optical center of a blank lens based on lens frame shape information corresponding to this part, the uncorrected glass lens is rotated and moved by a required angle together with lens rotary shafts 10a, 10b so as to be ground within a range in which a length linking with a radius vector tip point of the correction worked glass lens is not shorter than a length linking with the radius vector tip point of working information on the uncorrected glass lens for only a range related to each radius vector angle θ1 position necessary for a correction.
