PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the reliability, by making it possible to perform a highly accurate control of adding weight in which actually measured weight adding characteristics is reflected. SOLUTION: To control applied weight W from a position controlling load 1 to a work 4 by a command torque Te at the time of position control in which the position controlling lad 1 is made to contact the work 4, the command torque Te for a target applied weight is selected from a calibration table CT and a shape data table SDT, in which the command torque Te obtained at each position of a motor by actually measuring the motor 2 to be used and position controlling load 1 is confronted with the result of weight adding characteristics at the time of driving by the torque Te. The motor 2 is driven by the selected command torque Te to control applied weight in such a way that the actually measured weight adding characteristics can be reflected.
