PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize energy saving by an arrangement wherein a control means controls room temperature according to a control pattern stored in a memory means and controls driving of a refrigerator/freezer while adjusting the control pattern such that the temperature in the compartment matches a set level. ;SOLUTION: An air conditioner (refrigerator/freezer) 1 as a temperature controller is driven through a drive circuit 2. Outputs from an outdoor temperature detecting means 3A, an indoor (compartment) temperature detecting means 3B, a set temperature detecting means 3C, and a current time detecting means 3D are connected with a control means, i.e., a CPU 4, through an interface I/F 5. The CPU 4 is connected with a memory means 6 and the drive circuit 2 is controlled by a signal from the CPU 4.
