COLOR PURITY CORRECTION FILTER, SOLID-STATE IMAGE PICKUP ELEMENT, COLOR IMAGE PICKUP DEVICE, CAMERA AND SCANNER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color purity correction filter provided with a near infrared-ray cutting function in addition to a color purity correcting function and constituted so that the whole of an image pickup system can be made compact and inexpensive, and to provide a solid-state image pickup element, a color image pickup device, a board camera, a digital still camera and a scanner all having this filter. ;SOLUTION: The color purity correction filter is provided with the function correcting color purity by selectively cutting the light of a specified wavelength area at a boundary between red light and green light and/or a boundary between the green light and blue light, and further the function cutting near infrared-rays. The solid-state image pickup element is provided with the color purity correction filter as a cover material. The color image pickup device, the board camera, the digital still camera and the scanner are all constituted with the color purity correction filter.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
