PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve operability by tilting an operation lever with a switch operated for outputting a mast tilting signal, operating only the operation lever for outputting a fork lifting/lowering signal, and prohibiting a fork lifting/ lowering action when the operation lever is not returned to a neutral position.;SOLUTION: When a degree of opening proportional to a tilting angle of an operation lever 3 is provided, a lifting/lowering actin of a fork or a tilting action of a mast at a predetermined speed is provided. When the operation lever 3 is operated while a switch 9 is kept operated, a controller 7 gains a mast tilting action. In the switch 9 is released during this operation, a prohibiting circuit is actuated so as to prevent generation of pulse from a pulse generating circuit for stopping the tilting action and the lifting/lowering action of the mast. Simultaneously with this action, if the operation lever 3 is returned to a neutral position once, the prohibition state by the operated prohibiting circuit is released, and pulse generation from the pulse generating circuit is allowed to be impressed to an electromagnetic proportional control driving circuit.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
