PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the sizes of an optical device equipped with optical elements. ;SOLUTION: In a holder 9 in a housing 8, three light emitting elements 1a, 1b, and 1c, a projection lens 3, and two dichroic mirrors 5a and 5b are arranged, and below the holder 9, a light receiving element 2a for detection is arranged. The light emitting element 1c is arranged having its optical axis Lc aligned with the optical axis Lx of the projection lens 3, the light emitting element 1b is arranged having its optical axis Lb crossing the optical axis Lx of the projection lens 3 at right angles, and the light emitting element 1a is arranged having its optical axis Lc crossing the optical axis Lx of the projection lens 3 at an acute angle. An optical fiber 6a guides lights converged by the projection lens 3 to a detection position and an optical fiber 6b guides the light at the detection position to the light receiving element 2a for detection.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
