PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a speech recognizing method and a speech recognition device by which a speech command is recognized just after the command is inputted and the time for needing to start the processing corresponding to the recognized result is shortened by performing the recognizing of the speech command in a short time efficiently and which can quickly respond to the speech command and to provide a recording medium on which a voice recognition processing program is recorded.;SOLUTION: The speech section of a speech command is detected by a speech section detecting part 61 and the feature data of a speech section starting part of the speech section is outputted by a speech analyzing part 62, then speech spotting data for the speech command are outputted from a speech spotting part 63 by the feature data and preliminarily registered plural registered feature data. The speech of the speech section starting part is recognized in a speech recognition processing part 64 by using the speech spotting data from the speech spotting part 63, then the processings corresponding to the recognized results are performed in a recognition result processing part 67.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
