PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system that enables a visitor to be checked through a color liquid crystal monitor by installing an integrated type digital camera on a peep hole of a door in a condominium and the like and that permits recording on a floppy disk or printing as necessary. ;SOLUTION: A built-in type or an attachable type digital camera with a camera and a picture recording part separated, or a push-button of a similar type camera with these parts integrated, is installed at a peep hole 1, entrance/ exit or reception counter of a condominium and the like, for the purpose of area surveillance or visitor check. The camera or its push-button is designed to be driven by hand, or linked with buzzer, approach sensor or a remote control transmission, thereby making it possible to check a person or an object on a color liquid crystal monitor 4 and, if necessary, to record on a floppy disk 5, CD-ROM, JPEG standard card, etc.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
