PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To give simultaneity of data collection to improve a river water level data collection and report system to improve suck a situation of a conventional system which doesn't have a means for report to a monitor neither have simultaneity of data collection between slave stations.;SOLUTION: In the method where plural slave stations capable of exchanging information with a master station through a pager 2-4 are arranged in arbitrary measurement positions of a river to collect water level data from each slave station, the master station receives information on the rise of the river transmitted from any slave station to broadcast 'an investigation instruction' to all slave stations through a public line network, 'the investigation instruction' comes to pager carriers, who have pagers having the same addresses as slave stations, simultaneously with incoming to slave stations.
