PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the retrieval operation in ULR retrieval site of the Internet. The URL retrieval site is able to be retrieved with a key word relating to a category classification or its information contents according to main information contents of the respective WWW sites themselves. However, names of the WWW sites and names of the owners or operators of the WWW sites may be different from each other and names also may be duplicated, so it is difficult to immediately retrieve the WWW site of a specific owner or operator. Further, some URL retrieval site is often unable to perform retrieval with a name. ;SOLUTION: The URL retrieval site has a retrieval program for outputting a corresponding URL on the screen of WWW browsing software, etc., again by receiving an inputted or selected condition item such as a name, a tile, a telephone number, and an address for specifying the owner or operator of a WWW site and referring to previously stored data of individuals, corporations, or groups.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
