SOLUTION: In this single nickel-hydrogen battery 10, constituting an assembled battery mounted in an electric vehicle, a height H is set at 140 mm or less, the width of an electrode plate is less than a height thereof, the number of the positive electrode plates is 15-30, the number of the negative electrode plates is 16-31, the distance between two electrode plates is 0.1-0.2 mm, and a battery capacity is 30-80 Ah.
