PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To securely and safely fasten cow legs in a cow hoof-whittling device. SOLUTION: When a cow hoof-whittling device is so constituted that a cow- receiving chamber has an inlet-outlet part rearward, whose back, front and side doors open and close and the chamber is equipped with a device for lifting the cow entering the chamber itself, the front and back end parts of the lower parts of both right and left doors and the above device is constituted in such a way that its vertical median part of the doors can form an oblong hole for being loosely inserted by a cow head through which a cow head is loosely inserted in a closed state of doors and the right and left doors are supported on hinges at their inside lowest parts by a frame so as for the upper parts of the doors to open downward in right and left directions respectively, a regulating lever is turnably installed in front of the cow head inserting hole so as to regulate the vertical motion of a cow head when the cow head is inserted with a clearance into the hole.
