PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the strengthening method of the optimum center gas flow in a blast furnace, to which the solid charged material of coke, etc., at the furnace core part is activated and the gas ventilation is held to good condition and the furnace condition is kept to stability, in a bell type blast furnace. ;SOLUTION: In an operation of the bell type blast furnace, in which the coke and iron ore are charged layer by layer, to the charging order of coke- coke-iron ore-iron ore as one cycle for charging the raw material, the repeatingly charging cycle of the blast furnace raw material is changed to the coke-iron ore-coke-iron ore and further, the gas utilizing degree in the radial direction in the furnace at the furnace top part in the blast furnace is used as a unit of scale, to change the charging order of the coke and the iron ore. In this way, the suitable fused zone in the blast furnace can stably be obtd. and the gas ventilation at the furnace center part can always be held to the suitable condition and the operating condition of the blast furnace can be secured to the high level while keeping the stability.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
