LD ARRAY BEAM COLLECTING METHOD AND DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LD array beam collecting method and device which can collimate laser from each LD element in a proper precision and collects the beam in a small spot diameter.;SOLUTION: This device is comprised of a rod lens 4 being solidly fixed in advance at the terminal of a metal plate 5 provided with each LD element 2 on an LD array 1 which is provided with a plurality of LD elements 2 of which light emitting axis is arranged on a same plane, the metal plate 5 being so fixed as each rod lens 4 to locate in the perpendicular direction for an arranging plane of the LD elements 2 and their focuses to locate at an emitting point of each LD element 2. The metal plate 5 is strained by irradiating pulse laser 10 from a laser source 9 to the metal plate 5 while emitting laser 3 from each LD element 2 and a light axis of the LD element 2 and a central axis of the rod lens 4 is aligned.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
