PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively prevent spinning oil from secattering out of fibers in being spun at high speed by adding a specific amphiphatic vinyl based copolymer to an aqueous emulsion-type spinning oil. ;SOLUTION: The method of this invention is to add, to an aqueous emulsion- type spinning oil, 0.001-10 wt.% additive comfrising amphiphilic vinyl based copclymer (having 3,000-30,000,000 nunber average molecular weight) having structural units A, B, C and D expressed by formula I-IV [R1-R3 and R5 are each H or methyl; R4 is a 1-24C hydrocarbon: R6 is a 1-6C aliphatic hydrocarbon; X1 and X2 are each H, a 1-3C hydroxyalkyl or a 1-8C aliphatic hydrocarbon; M1 is an alkali metal, NH4 or a quaternary ammonium ion; (n) is an integer of 5-40] respectively, compresing 10-50 wt.% (pref. 8-40 wt.%) structural unit A, 10-50 wt.% (pref. 8-40 wt.%) structural unit B, 30-80wt.% (pref. 24-64 wt.%) structural unit C and (pref. 1-23 wt.%) structural unit D where the total of the structural units A, B and C is ≥80 wt.%.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
