PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply and quickly set a new outer wall material by fixing to mount the mounting part of a wall material setting metal-fitting on the outer edge of an already constructed furring strip and attaching the new outer wall on a new furring strip fixed on a connection part continuously provided on the mounting part. ;SOLUTION: An opening part A is provided on a part opposed to the furring strip DO of a wall material WO in an already constructed building B, and the mounting part 3 of a wall material setting metal-fitting 1 is mounted on the outer edge of the furring strip DO through the opening part A. Next, the mounting part 3 is fixed in a state where it is mounted on the outer edge of the furring strip DO by tightening of the locking member of bolts 5 or the like. A new furring strip DN is fixed by the fixing means of bolts, nuts or the like in the slot of a connection part 7 integrally provided on the mounting part 3. Then, a new wall material WN is properly attached to the new furring strip DN through an attaching fitting or the like.
