GENUINE/COUNTERFEIT ARTICLE DISCRIMINATION PLATE HAVING MINUTE HOLE AND GENUINE/COUNTERFEIT ARTICLE DISCRIMINATING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a genuine/counterfeit article discrimination plate which is provided with holes that are small enough not to be visually recognized, whose genuine/counterfeit can easily be discriminated by visual observation or machine reading and which is very difficult to be forged and altered. SOLUTION: A large number of background holes 5 being so small that they are difficult to be visually observed and information holes 6 obtained by shifting the holes 5 and arranging them are formed on base material 3 to construct a genuine/counterfeit article discrimination plate and the material 3 is placed on a color element image formed by arranging a large number of color elements showing any of RGB(red, green and blue) colors to permit genuine/counterfeit article discrimination. This genuine/counterfeit article discrimination plate can scarecely be forged and altered because information holes are provided with fine deviation from the background holes by using a precision working technology capable of forming minute holes such as a laser. Because information cannot visually be recognized with the genuine/counterfeit article discrimination plate alone, forgery and alteration are difficult in this respect.
