WATERPROOF FLOOR FOR BATHROOM REMODELING, AND REMODELING METHOD FOR EXISTING BATHROOM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bathroom remodeling method that requires a shorter term of works and easier works than existing ones, and a waterproof floor for remodeling that is suitable in the remodeling method.;SOLUTION: This waterproof floor for remodeling comprises a flat board portion 27 forming a washing floor, and a side wall portion 28 extending down from one longitudinal side of the flat board portion 27 at generally right angles. The flat board portion 27 and side wall portion 28 have respective interconnecting square cutouts 29 at their positions corresponding to a drain hole of existing bathrooms. In the cutouts 29, three raised walls 31, 31a and 31b are defined in U-shaped fashion in the plan view to form a catch basin in conformance to the drain hole, and the flat board portion 27 has about its cutout 29 a rest part 30 on which a perforated plate is placed.
