PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tool for preventing the bait-snatching by small fishes, effective for preventing the snatching of the bait by upper-layer small fishes and the drop of the bait in casting to sink the bait to the target depth and having light-weight and compact size for the easy handling even with a thin fishing rod by holding a bait attached to a hook in the preventing tool. ;SOLUTION: A bait-holding cavity for holding a bait is formed on the side face of the objective bait-snatching prevention tool 1 having an oval form and a through-hole 3 is formed on the upper part of the tool.
