PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composition being excellent in activation-energy-beam- curing properties and used for forming an ink-jet ink receiving layer which is obtained by curing the composition and constitutes an information recording medium excellent in any of ink fixing properties, water resistance and coat strength. ;SOLUTION: This composition contains an alkylene oxide modified multifunctional (meta) acrylate monomer and a compound containing two or more maleimide skeletons in a molecule. A receiving layer which is obtained by laminating the above composition and by curing the laminate by an activation energy beam and which enables recording with ink by an ink jet recording method is provided on the surface of an information recording medium.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
