AUTOMATIC MEASURING APPARATUS FOR WEIGHT AND FEED TAKING AMOUNT OF SMALL ANIMAL FOR EXPERIMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic measuring apparatus at a low cost which can measure the weight and the feed taking amount of a small animal for experiment by using a single electronic weigher. ;SOLUTION: A weight measuring table 3 is set on an electronic balance 2 arranged in the lower part of a frame 1. Above the table 3, a first receiving plate 4 which eliminates interference of weight measurement to other objects and has a cage 17 for breeding and a second receiving plate 5 having a feed taking vessel 40 are installed. A first mount 9 and a second mount 10 which mount independently the receiving plate 4 and the receiving plate 5 are installed on the weight measuring table 3. On the frame 1, a first and a second elevating apparatuses 6, 7 are installed which elevate individually the receiving plates 4 and 5, hold them in the state that they are lifted from the mounts 9 and 10 and not in contact with the mounts, and hold them in the measuring state that they are mounted on the mounts.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
