VACUUM DRYING DEVICE OF SPENT NUCLEAR FUEL CONTAINMENT VESSEL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vacuum drying equipment of containment vessel capable of efficiently conducting drying work. ;SOLUTION: This equipment 1 is constituted of a vacuum pump 12 for sucking air in a containing vessel 2 of spent nuclear fuel, a cold trap 13 installed on the way of the sucking pipe and removing water, and a gas supplying device 14 for supplying heating gas in the containment vessel. The heating gas supplying device 14 is constituted of a gas storage cylinder 21, a gas supplying pipe 22 for supplying gas from the storage bomb in the containment vessel, a heat exchanger 23 provided on the way of the gas supplying pipe and heating gas, an electromagnetic switching valve 24 installed on the way of the gas supplying pipe and downstream the heating heat exchanger and a pressure indication controller 25 for detecting air pressure (stream pressure) in the containing vessel and switching the electromagnetic valve, based on the detected pressure value. For the heat source of heating heat exchanger 23, heat generated in an absorption type heat pump device 31 is used.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
