PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a nano-emulsion having high storage stability, keeping high transparency, exhibiting good cosmetic characteristics and capable of holding a large amount of oil by including an oil and a surfactant exhibiting solid state at a specific temperature and composed of a glycerol fatty ester. SOLUTION: The objective nano-emulsion contains an oil phase dispersed in a water phase and composed of oil droplets having a number-average diameter of 100 nm and contains (A) a surfactant exhibiting solid state at =45 deg.C and selected from glycerol fatty esters and (B) at least one kind of oil having a molecular weight of 400. The ratio of the amount of the oil phase to that of the component A is 2-10. The turbidity of the nano-emulsion is preferably 60-600 NTU. The amount of the component A is 0.2-15 wt.%, preferably 1-8 wt.% based on the total weight of the nano-emulsion.
