PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the retrieval efficiency and retrieval accuracy of retrieval about a disaster place in a fire fighting emergency communication command job. ;SOLUTION: An association dictionary retrieving means 21 retrieves an association dictionary storing part 31 which stores correspondence information between a header word that is an abstract read kana name character string and association information according to an ambiguous read kana name character string received from an input device 1. A place information retrieval condition producing means 22 produces an edit retrieval condition based on the association information detected by the means 21 and an input retrieval condition when the retrieval is successful. A place information retrieving and outputting means 23 retrieves a place information storing part 32 based on the edit retrieval condition when the retrieval by the means 21 is successful and retrieves the part 32 based on the input retrieval condition when the retrieval by the means 21 fails, edits retrieval results in either retrieval and outputs them to an output device 4.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
