PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a personal channel retrieval logic generating method by which a keyword retrieval logic data for generating a personal channel not only by conventional key-board input while visually confirming the enumerated TV program guide but also by 'Drag and Drop'-inputting a program identifier and words after a keyword retrieval logic data generation support screen showing the program identifier to be the candidate of a newly adopted keyword and the usage characteristic of words is displayed, and to provide the system therefor and a storage medium in which a personal channel retrieval logic generation program is stored. ;SOLUTION: The extraction situation of the program by keyword retrieval logic data being an inclination condition corresponding to identifying data of a previously adopted personal channel is referred, the keyword retrieval logic data generation support screen showing the program identifier to be the candidate of the newly adopted and the usage characteristic of the words is generated, it is displayed to a viewer (S2), the viewer visually confirms the screen and the personal channel is generated (S4) based on the selected and inputted keyword (S3).;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
