PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aligning device and a recording and/or reproducing device mounting this aligning device which can be stably mounted to a rotary shaft, in which an aligning means can be easily adjusted event when aligning is deviated, and an aligned information record medium can be stably rotated. ;SOLUTION: This device is an aligning device 1 for aligning an information record medium 4 when the information record medium 4 of a disk type is rotated by an actuator 10 having a fixed part and a rotary part rotating around the fixed part centering a rotary shaft 2. In this case, the aligning device 1 is mounted to the rotary shaft 2 movably in the direction of the rotary shaft abutting to the rotary shaft 2 at plural points at intervals in the direction of the rotary shaft, and the device is provided with aligning means 31, 32 for arranging the information record medium 4 to a previously decided position so as to be concentric to the rotary shaft 2.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
