PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a built-in heater having a small size in height and capable of easily mounting a ventilating fan if necessary.;SOLUTION: A crossflow fan 3 forming an air stream directed from an inlet port 4 of a main body casing 7 to an outlet port 5 thereof is incorporated in the main body casing 7 defining the inlet port 4 and the outlet port 5 in the front surface of the casing 7, which is faced to the indoor side. A far- infrared ray heater 9 is provided on the front surface of the main body casing 7, and a ventilating fan mounting structure 12 capable of mounting a ventilating fan for introducing indoor air and exhausting it outdoors is provided so as to be arranged to the front surface side by side.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
