ADSORPTION TYPE GAS HOLDER AND GAS STORAGE/SUPPLY SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas holder with a high gas storage amount per a volume by separating a part of gas constituents before storage of gas and storing it in another storage container when methane group fuel gas is stored in a pressurized condition inside a pressure container housing an adsorbent. ;SOLUTION: Fuel gas (natural gas) is introduced from a high/intermediate pressure gas duct 13, and from the fuel gas, constituents such as propane and butane are separated by a gas separator 3 after an odorant is eliminated by a odorant eliminating device 15. The separated constituents such as propane and butane are stored in a LPG tank 5. On the other hand, methane group fuel gas excluding constituents such as propane and butane and principally consisting of methane, ethane and the like is stored under pressure inside adsorption type fuel gas holders 1 (1-A, 1-B, 1-C, 1-D). In gas supply, separately stored LPG is vaporized and added to gas desorbed from the gas holders 1, and after calorific regulation, the mixture gas is discharged via odorizing equipment 11.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
