METHOD OF COMPOSTING BRANCHES AND LEAVES OF TREES AND BRANCH AND LEAF COMPOST

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composting method for branches and leaves of trees that can compost branches and leaves to full maturity in a short time. ;SOLUTION: This composting process comprises a first preparation step A and a first fermentation step B where tree branches and leaves are crushed into saw dust- like particles of ≤5 mm sizes, combined with rice bran, fermentation micro-organisms and moisture and saccharides and amino acids are hydrolyzed, as the water content of the composting material is kept constant, the second preparation step C and the second fermentation step D where chemical fertilizers and moisture are added to the resultant composting material whose glycolysis is almost completed, they are mixed by stirring, then the mixture is kept at a temp of 60-70°C, as the moisture content is remained, to decompose the fibrous substances and the connective tissues; the third preparation step E and the third fermentation step where the composting material whose hydrolysis of connective tissues and fibrous material is almost completed is mixed by stirring to adjust its moisture content to about 55% and the fibrous substance is hydrolyzed, as the water content of the composting material, and finally the drying step where the composting material whose hydrolysis of fibrous material is almost completed is dried to 20-30% water content.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
