PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simulate rock compressing tests without using a real test piece.;SOLUTION: Reference input Ei which temporally monotonously increases is generated from a function generator 1 and is inputted to the summing point 11 of a control part 10. The load characteristics data on a model test piece at each timing of rock compressing tests is stored in a storage means 2, is read by an address generator 3 which generates an address according to a clock from the function generator 1, and is inputted to an amplifier 13 for load as a signal corresponding to a load of a virtual test piece. An adder 12 computes the difference between the output Ei'=Ei+Es of an adder 11 and a voltage Ed corresponding to a displacement from an amplifier 14 for displacement to output a deviation signal Ee to a PID controller 15, and a control signal to make a deviation Ed zero is inputted to a plant simulation part 30. A signal corresponding to a displacement DISP is outputted from the plant simulation part 30 and is inputted to the amplifier 14 for displacement.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
