PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide both a method for preventing an entanglement even when plural yarns are fed and an apparatus for practicing the method. ;SOLUTION: This method for simultaneously feeding plural yarns 4 and 5 in a double cylinder type circular knitting machine comprises simultaneously feeding the plural yarns 4 and 5 in the double cylinder type circular knitting machine designed to feed the plural yarns 4 and 5 to be expected for yarn feeding through a yarn finger unit 1 provided with a set of yarn arranging points arranged at the same height as that of the plural yarns 4 and 5 by feeding of needles 20 of the circular knitting machine (a yarn feeding step) and take up the respective excessive yarns at the last of engagement of the needles 20 with the yarns (a take-up step). The apparatus is capable of simultaneously feeding the plural yarns 4 and 5. The circular knitting machine is composed so as to move the yarn arrangement point of one yarn in the longitudinal direction from the yarn arrangement point of the other yarn at the last in the yarn feeding step and before the take-up step.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
