DISTRIBUTION METHOD AND DEVICE FOR DESIGN AND PRODUCTION INFORMATION ON ENTIRE PRODUCTION FACILITY FOR SHEET METAL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manage and distribute the design and production information all over a factory to promote the production of parts by making a bending plan by means of a graphical user interface and using the bending plan to produce the parts. SOLUTION: Each of places 10, 12, 14...20 included in a factory 38 has an instrument that is executed in response to an individual production step or process for the production of parts. A design office 10, for example, has a CAD/CAM system to promote the design of the sheet metal parts. The design and production information are electronically stored and distributed for management and distribution of the important design and production information. The total efficiency of the factory 38 can be improved by means of an electronic job sheet that can be instantaneously accessed at any place in the factory 38. In various phases of production, a server module 32 and a data base 30 are executed via a communication network 26 which is connected to the places 10, 12, 24...20 included in a sheet metal facility (factory) 38. Then a station module is prepared to interface to the data base 30.
