METHOD FOR RECONVERTING JAPANESE SYLLABARY INTO CHINESE CHARACTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently obtain a desired set of KANJI (Chinese character) by keeping a conversion result in a selected state and inputting a KANA (Japanese syllabary) character string again, and deciding a set of KANJI different from the KANJI character string which has been in the selected state as a 1st KANJI conversion candidate when the conversion result which is outputted by the KANA-KANJI converting device is to be further changed. SOLUTION: In the case that, after a KANA character string is inputted by an input device and converted into KANJI (S51), KANA-KANJI conversion is required again to obtain a correct KANJI set, a cursor is moved to the KANJI character string which has been already converted to put it in the selected state. Then it is confirmed (52) that the character string right before conversion is in the selected state, and it is also confirmed (53) whether the KANJI in the selected state matches the KANJI of a 1st candidate obtained by the KANA-KANJI conversion. When they match each other, the priority of the KANJI set among KANJI conversion candidates is determined (54), and a KANJI conversion candidate different from the KANJI character string in the selected state is displayed.
