PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently treat smoke-mist by locating a baffle board having a gap, forming a space above the baffle board, and locating a guide plate above the space in a casing for setting a blower, which has a smoke-mist intake port and a treated air discharge port.;SOLUTION: A smoke treating device C which is communicated with an incinerator through a flue tube comprises a casing 10 which is provided, at the upper and lower portions thereof, respectively, with an intake port 11 for water and a combustion gas, and a treated gas discharge port 12. In the casing 10, there are provided a several pairs of baffle boards 13 each consisting of a disc baffle board 13a and an annular baffle board 13b, a gap 14 established in the baffle board 13, a space 15 formed above the baffle board 13, a guide plate 16 set above the space 15, and a blower 17 which is communicated with the discharge port 12. The combustion gas which has been sucked from the gap 14 passes through the intake port 11 and collides with and stops at the first disc baffle board 13a together with the water at a bottom 10a of the casing 10, passes through the gap 14, and arrives at a space 18 where it is suddenly cooled and has a sufficient contact with water.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
