PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interactive function to a digital video disk(DVD) player. ;SOLUTION: When a remote commander 4 gives an instruction of moving image display to an input section 15, a graphic processor 23 retrieves graphic components stored in advance in a DVD 2 and outputted from a signal separate section 14 and combines the retrieved components according to an instruction from a CPU 16. A designated moving image is generated in matching with a motion (acceleration) of a hand of the user sensed by a sensor of the remote commander 4 and fed to a video composition section 24. An image memory 22 stores plural transparent images for overlapping whose background is transparent and the video composition section 24 combines the generated moving image and a DVD image in a predetermined sequence on a transparent image to composites the video image. The composited video image is displayed on a video/audio monitor 3 via an NTSC/PAL conversion section 20.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
