PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To construct a water tank by constructing water tank walls on the outer foundation isolated from an inner foundation for fixing a vibration equipment and connecting both foundations with shielding water seal.;SOLUTION: An inner foundation 12 and an outer foundation 13 are connected and supported with such vibration attenuation components 17 as air spring, damper, etc., and by this, attenuation effects of vibration transmission from the inner foundation 12 directly receiving the reaction force in vibrating the vibration stage to the outer foundation 13 is expected. Therefore, constructing the water tank wall 14 on the outer foundation is more effective for strength design of walls than constructing the water tank wall 14 on the inner foundation 12 directly receiving vibration reaction force of the vibration stage. There is a case the water tank wall 14 causes resonance fracture when the vibration frequency of the vibration stage coincides with the proper frequency which the water tank wall 14 has. However, in the case the water tank wall 14 is constructed on the outer foundation 13, the transmission of vibration reaction force of the vibration stage is attenuated. So, if resonance phenomenon in which proper frequency of the water tank wall 14 and the frequency of the vibration stage coincide is caused, the force received by the water tank wall 14 becomes smaller than the case the water tank wall 14 is constructed on the inner foundation 12 and possibility of leading to destruction is less.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
