OPTICAL FILTER SIMULATING LENS, MANUFACTURE OF OPTICAL FILTER SIMULATING LENS AND SIMULATED EXPERIENCE DEVICE FOR VISIBILITY OF THE AGED

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical filter simulating lens for the young which uses an optical multilayer film not to lower the absolute transmissivity in a visible region and enables the young to correctly simulate the visibility of the aged. SOLUTION: This optical filter is a lens-simulating optical filter in which plural thin films are stacked on a substrate in such a manner that the same optical films among two kinds of optical thin films different in index of refraction are not continuously stacked, and in which the film thickness of staked optical thin films is stacked without periodic repetition. For example, an optical mutlilayer film where an optical thin film 2 made of titanium dioxide with the index of refraction of 2.25 and an optical thin film 3 made of silicon dioxide with the index of refraction of 1.46 are stacked on an optical glass substrate 1 with the index of refraction of 1.52 by vacuum evaporating method. This lens-simulating optical filter enables a twenty-two year old young person to simulate the visibility of an eighty year old person without lowering absolute transmissivity in a visible region.
