PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer system for management system data having a function for relieving load with respect to a network of the management system data. ;SOLUTION: In a data communication network where a plurality of communication units (network elements) are interconnected by a network and a manager managing the network is provided, management system data to be transferred from communications equipment to the manager are temporarily stored in the communication unit, compressed and transferred, and the management system data consist of fault occurrence data and configuration state change data. When the number of these data within a prescribed sampling time are a prescribed number or larger, the data are compressed and the compressed data are transferred to the manager, after the lapse of a prescribed time.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
