PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a TBM facing and a method and a device for evaluating peripheral geology at a real time, in which data regarding a TMB such as mechanical data, geological data, muck observed data, etc., are collected at the real time, various dispersed and collected data are unitary-controlled, evaluation is conducted in consideration of the correlation of each data, the evaluation is fed back to the execution of works and excavation is performed stably. ;SOLUTION: The method of evaluating peripheral geology at the real time consists of a mechanical-data evaluation process B1 measuring and processing mechanical data at the real time and evaluating geology in the periphery of a tunnel boring machine 1, a drilling-logging evaluation process B5 surveying and evaluating geology in front of a facing by a drilling logging, and muck evaluation processes B2-B4 measuring the state of excavated muck and quantitatively evaluating the state and predicting and evaluating the state of a ground.
