PERMANENT RESIDENCE ADDRESS DETECTION CIRCUIT AND METHOD FOR ATM SWITCH

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a residence address included in a buffer by starting a counting operation after the final use address is decided and using a flag contained in a table which monitors the using state of the buffer address after recognizing one round of all addresses. ;SOLUTION: A final address deciding counter 14 starts its processing by a detection start signal that is received from a monitoring control part 13, and a full address circulation counter 11 starts its counting operation by triggering detection of the final address. The full address circulation is decided when the counter 11 counted the full address number, and a permanent residence address is detected by retrieving an unused address on a using state table 12. The table 12 triggers the detection start signal sent from the part 13 to check the address that is written into a buffer, and the full address using state is confirmed when a round is made among all addresses. The part 13 recognizes an unused address by means of a flag of the table 12 and detects the permanent residence address.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
