REMOVAL METHOD FOR MORTAR LAYER COVERING SKELETON OF EXISTING CONCRETE STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for removing a mortar layer from a skeleton at low noise and preferably at low vibration. ;SOLUTION: A plurality of openings 20 reaching from the surface of a mortar layer 16 to a skeleton are provided in the mortar layer to remove the mortar layer 16 covering the skeleton 12 of an existing concrete structure. The respective openings are formed by ultrasonic cutting. Secondly, the respective openings are closed by a closing means 22 and then pressure fluid is fed in the opening 20. This constitution can apply the pressure of the pressure fluid to the closing means 22 so as to peel the whole or a part of the mortar layer 16 from the skeleton 12 via the closing means 22.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
