PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a unit to simultaneously utilize both digital and analog telephone services. ;SOLUTION: Serial data 261 converted by a digital subscriber unit 251 are given to a digital terminal I/F section 253 in bus connection to the unit 251, which converts the data 261 into a digital terminal signal 262, and the signal 262 is given via a digital line modular 255 to a digital terminal such as a digital telephone set 252 that is in bus connection to the digital line modular 255, and a digital terminal signal 262 from any of the digital terminals is converted into digital data 261 and is fed to the digital subscriber unit 251. Furthermore, an analog terminal I/F 254 coverts the serial data 261 into an analog terminal signal 263, and the signal is given to an analog terminal such as an analog telephone set 259 via an analog terminal modular 258, and an analog terminal signal from any of the analog terminals is converted into serial data 261 and the data 261 are given to the digital subscriber unit 251.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
