TACKIFYING RESIN FOR DELAYED TACK-TYPE TACK AGENT COMPOSITION AND DELAYED TACK-TYPE TACK AGENT COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a tackifying resin consisting of a petroleumbased resin with its softening point within a specific range, having sufficient tack performance and excellent in blocking tendency and chalking resistance, and to obtain the subject composition by including the above tackifying resin, a thermoplastic binder resin, and a solid plasticizer.;SOLUTION: This tackifying resin consists of a petroleum-based resin with a softening point of 110C but 150C (e.g. a 9c-based petroleum resin, a pure monomer-based petroleum resin, a hydrogenated product thereof). The objective composition is obtained by incorporating (A) 100 pts.wt. of a thermoplastic binder resin (in general, used in water-based tack agents, e.g. an acrylic ester copolymer) with (B) pref. 50-400 pts.wt. of a solid plasticizer (e.g. diphenyl phthalate) and (C) pref. 10-250 pts.wt. of the above tackifying resin.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
