ENGLISH VOCABULARY RETRIEVAL/CHECK DICTIONARY WITH KANA HEADING AND ENGLISH VOCABULARY RETRIEVAL/CHECK DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an English vocabulary retrieval/check dictionary with KANA headings which enables its user to learn the correct spelling, pronunciation, meaning or the like of English words through his own visual retrieval of the words based on information on the sound obtained by his hearing, without using any knowledge about the correct spelling, pronunciation and meaning of the English words as preconditions, when a hearing session is underway. SOLUTION: In the English vocabulary retrieval/check dictionary with KANA headings, respectively different KANA notations are employed as KANA headings for retrieval regarding English words which are recorded as those having plural pronunciations and show differences in the KANA notations corresponding to their pronunciations.
