TASK SWITCHING METHOD OF MULTITASK AND REAL TIME OPERATING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a real time operating system (real time OS) which facilitates task side program production accompanying multiprocessing and reduces man- hour by storing the information in a flash memory in a control register. ;SOLUTION: This real time OS is loaded from a system memory 3 into a central processing unit 1. The kernel part of the real time OS drives a peripheral device 4 including a flash memory 41 by using a control register 11 at the time of switching a multitask. And, a sequence program is carried out while switching a task by saving the information in the memory 41 used by each task and returning it. The control register 11 stores the address information on a memory address register of the memory 41 corresponding to an active task, data information stored in the memory 41 and the operation state information in the memory 41.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
