PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foreign matter rejecting device which can realize the improvement of the safety, as well as can block the invasion of a foreign matter such as a kindling source from the inside of creat grooves of a moving footboard to the inside of a mechine body. ;SOLUTION: In a device having a footboard which has numerous creat grooves 3B at its foot surface 3A, and moves between one side getting-on/off floor 2 and the other side getting-on/off floor, a this foreign matter rejecting device consisting of a foreign matter rejecting body 6 composed of a fixed part 6A fixed being held in the up and down direction between the getting-on/off floor 2 and a comb plate 4; and a foreign matter rejector 6B at the front end of the fixed part 6A; is provided at the front end 2A of the getting-on/off floor 2.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
